She walked home slowly, leisurely, her bare feet barely
noticing the sticky tar and muck of the road. The wind slowly caressed her
hair, reminding her of his hands, just a few moments earlier. Just before he sniggered
at the idea of her career, and kissed her on the forehead.
She smiled as she lovingly adored her favourite red stiletto
dangling from her hand, then felt a twinge of sadness at spoiling the pair.
Maybe she shouldn’t have left the other one stuck in his
neck.
